31% of respondents said they prefer newspapers and magazines to be read on there IPAD, 26% prefer their laptops or computers, and 24% are stubbornly sticking to print.

Pro: It's a Mac, very sexy and elegant design, beautiful screen, large mouse pad, battery life, fast and efficient Intel Core i5, i7 processors, new Nvidia graphics, seamless switching between integrated and discrete GPUs.

 Cons: No HDMI, Blu-ray is missing, 13inch has crappy processor, 17inch has lower end i7 processor , and its overpriced for the technology it has to offer.

Summary: The 13 "does not get a real fix, why they choose to hold onto the core 2 processor they should have at least had an i3 Intel processor. No HDMI, no bluray, only 256 MB of GPU memory. I could hardly call this an update for the 13inch. In addition, $ 2,499 for a 17inch is that too a i7-620M instead of the 4 Core i7 720QM, and only a 512 MB NVIDIA GeForce, 330M GT Alienware m11x has better GPU than this. Although the Macbooks look nice, this refreshed models really are not impressive. With the 13 inch still struck with a core 2 duo processor and for the 15 inch you have to pay $1799, the 17inch with the i7, you have to pay $ 2,499.99 which I think is not worth the money i7 processor and 2 inch bigger screen and it cost 600$ more, doesn't make any sense. Apple mac book pro is available in different price ranges starting form 57,000 to 100,000 INR. Its indeed Expensive.

If you think that the attempt of Indian Ministry of HRD to make a $ 35 (Rs 1,500) laptop a pure fantasy, think again. Be prepared to be surprised. Not only does the tablet exists in a prototype, it actually works pretty well.

Bangalore: After its share receiving praise and blame Reports, developed by the India, the $ 35 tablet is finding support from non-profit organization 'One Laptop Per Child (OLPC)'. Chairman Nicholas Negroponte, who offered India with full access to the software and hardware technology of OLPC for help.

In his blog, Negroponte said," I repeat my offer free: full access to all our technology. I urge you to a team of MIT and OLPC will send it possible, so that we can share our findings with you. "

With its own plans of shipping a low-cost tablet by the year 2012, OLPC has the idea, where both OLPC and India may force the cause of promotion of education of the children.

 No Multitasking :

 Seriously! Does Apple think people will buy something which they call as an alternative for Laptops and Net books and it doesn't have multitasking, Just image this. You are browsing something on Safari(only browser you can possibly use on the ipad) and you find some interesting link you want to share with one of your friends, you have to close the browser and login to the Chat app and share the link with your friend, close the chat app, and open the browser and again continue with it. You can't listen to Pandora while you want to browse. In a nutshell NO Alt-Tab.

No Camera:

There is no front facing camera. And there is no back facing Camera either ? What the hell? I can't even image what the downside will be of adding a camera to this device. And so this device cant use Video chat in iChat. What a Fail!

 No HDMI Out :

4:3 ratio screen. Sorry no wide screen videos. Its like going back to watching videos on the TV what we had 10 years ago. And no HDMI out.

The Name iPad :

You will be already aware of all the maxi pad ads to make fun of the ipad.

Adapters, Adapters, Adapters:
If you need to plug any device to the ipad, digital camera, mobile phones you will need all kinds of adapters. You need a freaking adapter for USB for god's sake.

3G:

Its unlocked alright, but it supports only a few bands. For instance, if you want to use on T-mobile 3G, sorry you can not.

Its not a Real Computer OS:

The iPad has the ipod touch's OS. So its like having a mp3 players OS on a computer, how worse can it get. And the Closed Eco system. You just need to use the Apps that are available only in the App store. The same thing what banned the Google Voice app and Opera browser for the iphone and ipod. We need a REAL OS.

NO FLASH! NEED FLASH:

How can Apple say its a device to give us a new internet experience, well atleast its true the internet will be completely new for us without Flash. Its a fact that lot of the sites on the internet uses Adobe Flash. Well there is an App for watching Youtube videos, but what  about watching vidoes on tousands of other video sites and Flash. Its is highly disappointing.

Storage: This 16gb, 32gb and 64gb. That is it?

Even a cheap net book will have 160GB of hard disk space these days.

Battery: Can't remove it! This is something what we have since the iphone. If you think you have something wrong with the Battery, you can't remove it or change it. Just ship it to Apple, and wait till they change it and send it back.

Price: Lets see if its a value for the money atleast

Starting at 500$ and goes up to 700$

For a device, which has a crappy processor and ram, less Hard disk space and all the cons mentioned above, Its certainly not worth the money.
