Manali Set in Himachal Pradesh, Manali is the prime destination for Trekkers and backpackers and is the gateway to the desolate valleys of Lahaul and Spiti. You can visit the Mountaineering institute, The Vashisht Village and the numerous temples and tibetian monastries. Around Manali you can visit Naggar, Roerich Museum, Rohtang Pass adn the Rahala Waterfalls. Manali is abundant with adventure sports like skiing, heli-skiing, trekking, hiking, paragliding, river crossing, rafting, kayaking or mountain biking. You can even go Trout Fishing, or visit the local markets and pick up some Tibetian Souveniers.
If you aren't too keen on getting away to a cold place but still want to be laid back , relax and enjoy, then Goa is your ideal destination. It is truly the holidaymaker's paradise with culture, churches, beaches and nightlife. The fact that Goa is a sought after destination even with the heat blistering down in the summer, goes to show that Goa is the ultimate destination in India, whatever the season.The beaches of Calangute and Baga are the most visited while other famous beaches include Arambol, Anjuna, Candolim, Colva and Palolem.
