|First AC Double Decker Train Flagged off from Howrah to Dhanbad|
Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi flagged off the country's first double-Decker super fast train from Howrah in West Bengal to Dhanbad in Jharkhand.
The double decker train, comprises of nine coaches, which includes 7 double-decker as chair cars and will have 128 seats in each coach and two generator cars.
The Howrah-Dhanbad Express super fast double Decker ac train is said to have maximum permissible speed of 110 kmph. The distance between Howrah and Dhanbad is about 270 km.
The Howrah-Dhanbad Express super fast double Decker ac train will start from Dhanbad at 5.00 am and arrive at Howrah by 9.15 am.
The train will run 5 days a week which include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The train will not run on Thursdays and Sundays.
