The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has officially been launched in India at a price of Rs 32,990. The new Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 which is the successor of Galaxy Tab 750 runs on Ice Cream Sandwich and is powered by a 1 GHz Dual Core Processor.

The tablet was delayed as the Samsung made a few changes to the specifications and has now raised the expected price level too. A 7,000 mAh Battery powers the device which has a 3 megapixel Camera that records videos at an HD 720p resolution.

The device weighing 583 grams is slightly heavier than its predecessor, the Tab 10.1 (Tab 750). Other changes in the device includes the front facing stereo speakers and expandable memory support. The tablet is available in silver and white colours.
