Micromax has unwrapped the price and specification details of the Superfone Ninja 2 A56 smartphone which is the successor to the Android-based smartphone Superfone Ninja A50 which was launched in April 2012. The Indian mobile manufacturer has not revealed the launch date, but the specs and price details have been announced early.

The Micromax Ninja 2 A56 is a dual-SIM (both GSM) budget smartphone priced at Rs 5,999. The handset is powered by a  800MHz Qualcomm processor and uses Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system. The mobile has a 3 megapixel rear Camera and a  3.5-inch HVGA display with gravity sensor and ambient light sensor.

The device comes with 512MB of ROM with 256MB of RAM and runs on a 1,400mAh Battery which delivers 4.5 hours of talktime and 180 hours of standby time.
In the connectivity front the smartphone supports  3G, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, WAP and  USB 2.0 port. The mobile phone has interactive inbuilt applications which includes WhatsApp, TOI, Facebook, Google Play and YouTube etc.

The mobile phone is blessed with Micromax's voice-based assistant AISHA (Artificial Intelligence Speech Handset Assistance) which was introduced with the A50 Ninja. Micromax's latest releases under the budget smartphone category segment are Superfone A45 Punk (Rs 5,499) and budget dual-SIM phone A52.
