Nokia stole the show at the mobile World Congress 2012 today (27-02-12) by unveiling its incredible Nokia PureView mobile phone, which is considered as the successor of N8. Along with this masterpiece, Nokia unwrapped the Lumia 610, Lumia 900 and three mobile phones from Asha series.

Nokia PureView 808 Camera features :

The Nokia PureView 808 is one of the biggest products to be unveiled at the MWC 2012. The mobile phone has got a 41MP Carl Zeiss lens with Xenon flash for capturing images and LED light for video recording. The mobile phone can record videos at 1080p HD video recording at 30 fps, with stereo sound and 4xzoom.

However, the display specifications are no way closer to the camera capability, which is quite disappointing. Nokia PureView 808 has a basic 640x360 AMOLED Gorilla Glass display.

The Nokia PureView 808 is expected to be launched by the month of May, 2012. However, the details on the price it would carry, is still a big question mark. Nokia has also unveiled the global model of Lumia 900, which was earlier meant only for AT and T users.
