Samsung BD-C6500 is great with superb images, excellent audio, a good remote and a lot of splendid internet and multimedia capacities combined with, of course, a few frowns. This excellent blu-ray player has good picture quality combined with neat audio. It is also very user friendly when internet services like Netflix, Vudu, You Tube and Pandora are connected to your television set.

The colours in computer animated movies were a class apart while the contrast and details of human figures were very much appreciated. This HDMI receiver, unlike the previous blu-ray players, can decode new audio formats. You tube interface is great. But then, entering the search text is not so comfortable.

The users interface for selecting the media uses the same words for different applications. The user could find it difficult to understand what they mean. They could have been more thoughtful in this regard.

One could browse tunes by genre, artist or other dimensions apart from organizing photos by tags using the “keyword” browsing. Any DLNA server such as Windows Media player is enough to install this software. This is really good news! The remote is convenient to use and programmable. The remote’s info button or tools button provides information about what we are watching. Great! But still lacking!
