According to its creators iTwin is a pair of identical USB drives which share datas only between them over any connection and prohibits being accessed by any other system. You can access information from your hard disk from anywhere in the world by inserting one in your PC and carrying the other with you. The creators term the system as “cable-less cable”.
How does an iTwin work ?
The device is basically interconnected ie. the two identical USB drives shares the same information exclusively between them. By plugging in one USB into the computer and carrying the the other you can access information on your hard disk from anywhere around the world. For the access possibility you just need an internet connection. The internet connection for this costs around Rs 5000.

The creators claim that iTwin is the best and secure mode of cable like connection which is activated through internet as the medium. The iTwin doesn't require lengthy installation procedure, passwords entries for each time or any other specific configuration upgrade to be done. You are ready to proceed once you are plugged in.
What if you lose one of the USB ?
IF you happen to lose one of the USB, you can unplug the other fitted in computer to retrieve all your lost datas. The remote USB can also be disabled by using the password generated when you pair the devices for the first time.
Will iTwin be launched in India:
Well, there are certain bright prospects of this revolutionary device being introduced into Indian markets. The creators Lux Ananthraman and Kal Takru say that they are presently concentrating on US and European markets, but are keen to bring in the device to the Indian shores.
The device has been appreciated and welcomed with several awards in the year 2010-11. For the simple and compact design, the iTwin has earned the 2011 Red Dot Design Award for outstanding product design.
