Angry Birds Space which was launched a few days back for the iOS, Android and for the PCs and Mac will soon be available in the Windows OS supported phones too. There were a few reports that the Finnish gaming company has boycotted the Windows platform, but now the company's chief executive Mikael Hed has confirmed the arrival of 'Angry Birds Space' for Windows Phone 7 platform as well.

There was no perfect time line mentioned by Mikael Hed for the launch of the Windows version of the hot selling game. Angry Birds Space has become viral in terms of downloads and the reviews are mostly holding 4 to 4.5 stars in 5 scale mark.

As the new version of the Angry Birds is topping the download charts in all the platforms in which it was released, Rovio's boycott of the Windows 7 platform was considered to be a major drawback for the Finnish mobile manufacturer's ambitions to offer Angry Birds in all its smartphones.

Here are the words said by Rovio's chief executive Mikael Hed as quoted by thinkdigit.com :

"We are working closely together with Nokia to bring our games to their platforms." "Our mutual goal is to bring the best possible experience to our fans, including all fans using Windows Phone devices."
