The Indian Premier League, right from the day one of its inception, has become a commercially successful event but the question is, “Is IPL spoiling the quality of Cricket?”. Being an Indian, I would say a wholehearted “YES” to it. IPL has brought in people together, joy, entertainment and mainly loads and loads of cash circulation.

Defending Chennai Super Kings have maintained a 100 percent winning record in their home so far in IPL 4. Kochi Tuskers Kerala, though struggling in the middle of the points table, will be confident enough to face CSK as they have posted a victory against them in the their previous home fixture.

While everybody was waiting for Gayle storm to strike again, it was all-Aussie show at Dharmashala by Kings XI Punjab skipper Adam Gilchrist and Shaun Marsh. KXIp must continue their good form and win two more matches in their home ground in order to pave way to the playoff stages. Another healthy aspect of their mammoth win is that KXIP have gained the much needed run rate I order to better the other teams which are currently holding the top four positions in the IPL points table.

Indian opener Virender Sehwag, who is suffering from a shoulder injury, is expecting a come back in the India Vs England test Series 2011. Virender Sehwag was rested out from the ongoing IPL 4 Season following the much needed surgery on his right shoulder. Virender Sehwag picked up the injury way back in 2009 which has aggravated in the intervening period.
