French Open's hot favourite Rafael Nadal will take on fellow Spaniard Nicolas Almagro in the quarter-finals of the French Open 2012. Unlike the top seeded Novak Djokovic who faced stiff competition from Frenchman Joe Wilfried Tsonga in the quarterfinals, Nadal is expected to cruise past Almagro.

Mahesh Bhupathi and Sania Mirza have progressed to the semifinals of the French Open after defeating the second seeded Kveta Peschke and Mike Bryan pair. The seventh seeded Indian pair kept the hopes alive for their second Grand Slam title of their career by defeating the second seeds Czech-American pair 6-2 6-3 in their quarter-finals match.

Rafael Nadal claimed his sixth title at the Rome Masters by defeating his arch rival Novak Djokovic in straight sets 7-5, 6-3. The Spaniard once again proved himself as the undisputed King of Clay through a comprehensive straight set victory on Monday (21-05-12).

The all-Indian tennis doubles pair Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna advanced to the quarter finals stage of the ongoing ATP WTA Miami Masters 2012 tournament by beating Spanish pair Marcel Granollers and Rafael Nadal.
