The all-Indian tennis doubles pair Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna advanced to the quarter finals stage of the ongoing ATP WTA Miami Masters 2012 tournament by beating Spanish pair Marcel Granollers and Rafael Nadal.

Rafael Nadal advanced to the last 16 of the ATP WTA Miami Masters tournament on Sunday (March 25-03-12). Britain's Andy Murray advanced to the fourth round without even entering the field as his Canadian opponent Milos Raonic withdrew from the match due to right ankle injury.

Former World No 1 Maria Sharapova carved her way to the semifinals of the Indian Wells by beating fellow Russian Maria Kirilenko 3-6 7-5 6-4. Sharapova, who hasn't lost a single set in her first three matches of the tournament had to fight back hard to earn her spot in the semi-finals.

Indo-Czech pair Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek advanced to the quarter finals stage of the BNP Paribas Open 2012 after facing tough competition from Juan Monaco and Kei Nishikori pair.
