Indian team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is known for his love for motorcycles and owns a list of superbikes. The motorcyle enthusiast has taken his interest to the next level by owning a motorbike racing team called the MSD R-N Racing Team India.

This racing team will compete in the ongoing FIM Supersport World Championship season from the 10th race onwards. The FIM Supersport racing series is a support to World SBK Championship. MSD's racing team will be competing for the first time in the racing series at Czech Republic in Bruno. The team will take part in seven more season left out in the current season.

MSD has made a smart move by owning a racing team as India will host one of the races of the 2013 World SBK Championship season at the Buddh International circuit which hosts the Formula 1 racing championship.

MSD R-N Racing Team India's drivers :

MSD R-N Racing Team India's drivers will be Florian Marino of France and Dan Linfoot of Great Britain. Amit Sandill has been appointed as the team principal. France rider Mariano is a four-time Superstock 600 race winner, while Linfoot has won two Superstock 600 races in 2008. The squad has Yeovil in the UK as its base and Andrew Stone will be the racing team's technical director.

The official website of the team states MS Dhoni as a part of the management, while Tollywood actor Akkineni Nagarjuna is the Director. The position of CEO and Managing Director of the team is takne care by Nandish Domlur, who is a cardiac surgeon by profession.
