Indian badminton queen Saina Nehwal who won the bronze medal in the recently concluded 2012 London Olympics was felicitated by the Andhra Badminton Association. The association's chair person Chamundeshwari Nath honored the shuttler's achievement by gifting a brand new BMW to her.

The highlight of the story is that the costly gift was given to Saina by India's most recognized sport star Sachin Tendulkar. Saina Nehwal, Gopichand and budding badminton talent PV Sindhu were given a BMW car each.

While speaking at the felicitation function, Sachin said, "I am sure that she (Saina) is happy but not satisfied. We are also not satisfied because we know that you can go to greater heights. You have that ability with Gopi's guidance. There are better days ahead and as a sportsperson, you always try to believe that your best is yet to come."

"You all deserve praise and good things that are coming your way," he added. Saina won India's first ever medal in Olympics after her Chinese opponent withdrew from the match due to injury.
