Dutch International and Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has signed the dotted lines with Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United. The transfer deal between Arsenal and Man Utd was due for the clearance of medical test of RVP and now all is clear.

Van Persie will be making his debut appearance for Manchester United against Everton which is also the club's first fixture in this season.

“I am looking forward to following in the footsteps of so many great strikers, bringing my experience and playing my part to help the team compete for the biggest trophies in the game,” Van Persie quoted on the United website.

Manchester City's coach Roberto Mancini has said that the addition of Robin Van Persie in Manchester United lineup has made the team hot title favorites.
