|Luis Suarez suffers 8-match ban for racist comments|
Liverpool forward Luis Suarez has suffered a 8-match ban as per the by the FA's decision (Football Association). The Liverpool star player has been found guilty of passing racist comments on Manchester United midfielder Patrice Evra when the two teams clashed in an EPL fixture on 15th of October.
The FA also fined 40,000 pounds for the Uruguayan international. According to a press statement released by the FA, Luis Suarez has been fined and given 8-match ban and fine of 40,00 pounds under the charge of misconduct in the pitch according to an Independent Regulatory Commission.
On the other hand, the victim, Patrice Evra expressed his views on the racist comments made by Suarez. Evra said that he is not trying to cash in with the situation, but found the comment very disappointing and upsetting. The Manchester United midfielder, however, did not reveal the exact words said by Suarez.
The penalty and match ban has been laid by the FA under violating the rules E3 (1) and E3 (2). Liverpool's manager Kenny Dalglish is still backing his striker and assured that the management will do as much help as possible to help him out.
