Buffon's heroics saves Juventus's unbeaten run

Italian international goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon with his reflexes pulled off a draw for his team  Juventus by saving a penalty. Having scored one goals each, Juventus and Roma were trying to get the lead over the other desperately.

Roma had a healthy chance of taking the lead when Francesco Totti’s was all set to take the penalty shot in the second half of the game. Buffon saved the penalty which shattered Roma coach Luis Enrique. Hosts Roma scored in the 6th minute of the game while Juventus' Giorgio Chiellini equalized in the during the 60th minute.

Later Juventus managed to save a goal through Buffon and extended their unbeaten run to 14 games in the Italian Serie A football league. “I clearly expected it to be a goal,” he said. “I thought Francesco would do what he knows best, to score a goal. But he was faced with Buffon, who is an intimidating goalkeeper,” said Roma coach Luis Enrique.

Juventus' coach Antonio Conte was happy with the draw and showered praises on his team for their excellence in the field. “If I look at the table, then I can say we are doing extraordinary things, well beyond expectations at the start of the season,” said Antonio Conte.

Giorgio Chiellini scored the equalizer for Juventus during the 61st with the assistance of Estigarribia's cross. Totti wasted the chance of scoring the winning goal for his team by middling a powerful Kick right in the middle which was saved by Buffon.
