Defending Champion Sebastian Vettel clocked the fastest time at the pre-season test in Barcelona. Sebastian Vettel 0.175 seconds faster than Force India's Nico Hulkenberg, who finished at 1:23.440 at the Circuit de Catalunya.

The Red Bull F1 team which finished on top in the Driver and Constructor's championship, revealed its F1 car for the 2012 season. The RB8 2012 Formula One car was launched today (07-02-12). Sebatian Vettel will be aiming for the third consecutive world championship with the well set construction team, while Vettel's Australian teammate Mark Webber will have his go to prove he is better than Vettel.

Frenchman Jules Bianchi has been signed as the reserve driver for Sahara Force India F1 team for the 2012 season. The French driver will have minimum of 9 Friday practice sessions with the Sahara Force India F1 team.

Brazilian Rubens Barrichello has been dumped and replaced with young Brazilian Bruno Senna by his Williams F1 team. Bruno Senna, who is a former HRT racer will replace his senior in the Williams for the 2012 season. Bruno also drove for Team Renault in the last season.
