After defeating Papua New Guinea by 107 runs, India has set up a quarterfinals clash with rival Pakistan in the ICC Under-19 World Cup.

India concluded their innings in the 46th over after making 204 runs. Papua New Guinea's Chad Soper was the stand out bowler with five wickets. Indian skipper Unmukt Chand lost his wicket in the second over after scoring just 4.

Prashant Chopra and (58) and Baba Aparajith (14) tried to apply the brakes but failed in the attempt. Maharashtra batsman Vijay Zol played an anchor innings of 72 runs which helped India reach the 200 mark.

Indian bowlers stepped up to the situation an bowled brilliantly packing up Papua New Guinea's batsmen for just 97 runs in 32 overs. Man-of-the-match was given to Ravikant Singh who took five wickets at an economy of 2.33.

India finishing second in Group C will face Group B topper Pakistan to get through to the semifinals to be held on the 20th of August at the Tony Ireland Stadium.
