India take unassailable lead in ODI series against Sri Lanka

Team India took an unassailable 3-1 lead in the ongoing ODI series against Sri Lanka by winning the fourth ODI held at R. Premadasa cricket stadium.

Virat Kohli's unbeaten 128 runs off 119 balls while Raina's scored 58 off 51 balls. The initial start was given by Virender Sehwag making 34 off 46 balls, but the man in form Gautam Gambhir was cleaned up in the very first over by Lasith Malinga.

Rohit Sharma disappointed once again making just 4 runs off 18 balls and Manoj Tiwary managed to make just 21 runs.

The part-time bowlers set up the game for India. Manoj Tiwary bowled a dream spell of 4 for 61 in 10 overs with one maiden over. Ravichandran Ashwin bolwed his full quota of 10 and Virender Sehwag was used for 8 overs.

On the whole the Indian pacers bowled only 18 overs and the rest of the duties were cleanly completed by the slow bowlers. The 5th and final ODI will be played on the 4th of August at Pallekele International Cricket stadium.
