Attending your first interview! Being nervous for it is a common thing, but many acts of us because of the interview fear and nervousness spoils the entire presentation. The following below is the few common dos and don’ts to be taken in consideration while making it for an interview.

1. Being punctual: Being punctual does not mean to reach the interview on time. It is important to reach the destination before the said time. There are various benefits by making ourselves available early. You can fight traffic easily and also prepare yourself in a relaxed state in the venue. And finally being punctual gives you an extra score.

2. Wardrobe: Erase your thoughts if you believe that bright shirts will impress your interviewer! Choose with colors like white, sky blue for your shirts. Stick mostly with plain shirts. As vice versa choose pants of dark color matching your shirts. Colors like black, dark blue, dark green will do well. Still do not have those colors!!! Then make sure you are wearing some clean clothes. And never go with a sandals or slippers. It spoils your entire personality. Wear only black or brown formal shoe which is well polished.

3. Hair care: Do not go for a last minute hair cut and guys with thick skin do not go for a last minute shave. Use a hair gel to give a fixed look to your hairs. Can have one in your pocket also to give a quick fix to your hair. Trim your mush above your lips and let your smile take over the interview.

4. Personal information: Never provide wrong or hyped information about you to the interviewer. If you do not know anything then put it straight that you do not know that but you will learn to know that. Being genuine in your answers is what more company look at than your subject knowledge.

5. Interview File: Always maintain an interview file with you who have some couple of your passport size photographs, some copy of your resumes and your educational documents Xerox copies.

And finally be cool in your attitude when you present yourself for the interview but never be casual in your approach. Sticking to these thumb rules you will get your job with all respect.
