When managing the peer group is one thing in office, it is always best for you to befriend few people in office, which will help you in times.

Receptionist:

Receptionist can help to direct you food deliveries to your cabin, help your visitors and guests. If you also do not want visitors to meet you, it is the receptionist who can help you. She can help you in other documents that are delivered to your office.

Security Guard :

Security or other security personal are the next whom you should be befriending cause they will allow you in any time, leave you to have some galla time with your friends in the next floor, allow friends bikes to be parked in your parking space, help you in photocopies and print outs, in case if there’s an emergency for it.

Finance Guy:

Finance is something for which we all work for and specially if you are working in a corporate office, it is always best for you to befriend them, as they know the date of salary, if you have any problem with salary statement, reimbursement, etc. They will also help you if you are quitting your job. They will be helping you in filling the PF forms and other formalities.

Gossip Monger:

These are the people who spread rumors about others and about you too. Do not be in their hate list.

Boss's pet:

God, these are the main people who finish the work before time by praising about the boss's shirt/tie/pant/shoes/hair/lack of hair and so on. They remember boss's birthday, gift them, surprise them and earn the good will.

Canteen guy:

If you are late for lunch, the canteen guy can help you out in lunch, he can also have a special dish for you. He will also help your visitors, so be in good terms.

Tech Guy:

It is the technical support people who play a major role. If your system fails, then you need not have to wait for long hours to get it repaired. You can also have special permissions to use hard drives, pen drives and others. You can also download movies, songs in large file size through torrent.
