Kannada star Ambareesh celebrated his 60th birthday in Karnataka which had the big shots from film industry and political arena in attendance. The birthday celebrations took place on the 29th of May, 2012 at  Palace Grounds, Mekhri Circle.

From the political arena state Chief Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda, former chief minister B.S. Yediyurappa, Union ministers Sushilkumar Shinde and K.H. Muniappa and Congress leader D.K. Shivakumar were present to register their wishes for the Kannada superstar.
