Director Thangr Bachan who is known for his quality films like 'Azhagi', 'Solla Marandha Kadhai', 'Thendral', 'Pallikoodam' and 'Onbadhu Roobai Nottu' is directing the film 'Ammavin Kaipesi'.

'Ammavin Kaipesi' is a novel written by Thangar Bachan which is getting Ready as a feature film with 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa' fame Iniya (as Selvi) and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj in the leads.

Bollywood music composer Rohit Kulkarni is scoring the film's music, Kishore will work in the editing table, lens work is handled by Karuppaiah, and lyricists Na Muthukumar and Egadesi have penned the lyrics.
