Manivannan's comeback film and his 50th directorial venture 'Nagaraja Chozhan MA MLA' has its key ingredient Sathyaraj playing the role of Nagaraja Chozhan, accompanied by Manivannan in the role of Mani.

Soodhu Kavvum, directed by Nalan Kumarasamy has Vijay Sethupathi and Sanchita Shetty in lead roles besides Simhaa, Ashok Selvan and RJ Ramesh Thilak in key roles. Santosh Narayanan of Pizza fame has composed the music and editing is by Leo John Paul. Dinesh Krishnan has handled the cinematography.

Ethir Neechal, the film which stirred more interest among movie buffs due to Dhanush’s investment is directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar starring Sivakarthikeyan and Priya Anand in lead roles. Satish takes care of the comic portions, while Nandita and Jayaprakash play key roles.

Naan Rajavaga Pogiren directed by debutant Prithvi Rajkumar, a former associate of Vetrimaaran, has Nakul, Chandini and Avani Modi in lead roles. After Udhayam NH4, this film has the same the combo of GV Prakash's music, Velraj's cinematography, Kishore Te's editing and Vetrimaaran's dialogues.
