During his prison sentence Kaalai over ambitiously demands more money from children and does a lot of corrupt activities. Isaipriya (Sana), who works as a clerk in the school is a graduate student who works on a project on Matriculation schools and their education system. Kaalai decides to kill Isaipriya since she gets to know about his illegal activities. Udumban chips in at the right time and saves her. With the help of Isaipriya, Udumban funds the government school of their village and regulates good education system which benefits talented children from economically poor background. The rest of the story holds how Dilip Roger reveals the true face to the village people. Udumban Movie highlights : Dilip Roger, who has proved his skills in tracks bike racing has done a decent job and Sana, has managed to impress audience in her crisp role. Director Ramji S Balan, who has also scored the music for the film, has impressed with a couple of good tunes, but fails in background score. On the direction part, Ramji S Balan hasn't done anything great except choosing a different story line for delivering a good message on the education system of private schools.
