After being successful with the Vijay awards honoring the best of Tamil cinema, Vijay TV is back in to the awards for the music category.

Vijay Awards which had  good running for four years now, has initiated with Vijay Music Awards, an awards ceremony honoring the Tamil Music Industry.  

The first year of Vijay Music awards will give away awards to technicians who were behind the successful films that were released in the year 2010 and honor the talented people who had been contributing in the field of music.

The year 2010 saw the release of 149 movies; with over 700 songs; more than 123 singers and 13 music directors and over 500 technicians…!  Vijay Music Awards honors the outstanding achievements in the music industry in the year 2010.
