|Akshay Kumar's next 'Naam Hai Boss' Pokkiri Raja remake|
Akshay Kumar is teaming with his 'Blue' movie director Antony D’Souza once again for the remake of Pokkiri Raja, a hit Malayalam film in Hindi.
Akshay who is gearing up for the release of Oh My God, his production venture, in which he plays an extended cameo is all set to be part of this remake, after the hit film Rowdy Rathore (remake of Telugu Movie Vikramarkudu).
The Hindi remake is said to be titled Naam Hai Boss. Akshay who is enjoying his masala movies, which gives him that mass hero status is yet again part of a commercial entertainer. The original version saw Mammooty, Prithviraj and Shriya Saran in the leads.
We hear that Akshay who has secured the rights of the super hit Vijay's Tamil song 'Appadi Podu', will be used in this film.
Interestingly Akshay will not have any lead heroine opposite him. His will be essaying the role of Mammotty and the Hindi remake will have two newcomers in place of Prithviraj and Shriya. The film will commence its shoot in September and will release next year.
