Ben Kingsley in 'A Wednesday' Hollywood remake

Ben Kingsley in A Common man Hollywood film

A Wednesday Hindi movie directed by Neeraj Pandey which had Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher in important roles, is now being remade in English with the title Common Man.

The film will have Ben Kingsley who will play that common man's role, while yet another British actor Ben Cross would be playing another important role. The film is to be directed by Sri Lankan filmmaker Chandran Rutnam, who we hear would be adapting the story to a high suspense thriller.

The film's music is to be scored by Ramesh Vinayagam. We hear that Ben Kingsley would play Naseeruddin Shah's role, while Ben Cross would be reprising the role of Anupam Kher.

The film was also remade in Tamil as Unnaipol Oruvan with Kamal Hassan and Mohan Lal, which again was a critically acclaimed film. The Telugu version Eenadu had Venkatesh and Kamal Hassan.
