Nayantara plays documentary filmmaker in Ongaram

Nayanthara and Rana Daggubati starrer Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, is also being released in Tamil as Ongaram.

Nayanthara interestingly plays a documentary filmmaker in the film. The film directed by Krish ( f Vaanam fame), told media, "It's an action adventure. Rana is a theatre artist, while Nayan is a docu filmmaker. Though their approach towards life is different, they have to travel together at one point of time," says Krish, who is directing the movie.

Krish who made Vedam in Telugu which was also remade in Tamil as Vaanam, told media, "For the first time, I am directing a film in two languages simultaneously. I am happy about it."

The film also has Bollywood actor Milind Gunaji who plays the role of a villain, while Santhanam adds laughter. The film's climax was recently shot at Binny Mills in Chennai.
