Amala Paul and Dhanush who are supposed to be paired up for Aishwarya Dhanush's directional debut '3' seems to have come together for director Sargunam's upcoming film 'Sotta Vazhakutty'.

There are rumors prevailing that the producers, after considering a few names for the leading lady's role, have zeroed in on Amala Paul, who has given two recent hits 'Vettai' and 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi'. However confirmations from either sides doesn't exist.

Amala Paul was the first one to be considered as the female lead in '3'. Later the actress walked away from the film following some untold reasons.

'Sotta Vazhakutty' is touted to be a romantic-comedy film produced by Aadukalam's producer Kathiresan. The film will enter its shooting phase once Dhanush is done with his Bollywood debut film 'Raanjhnaa' in which he shares screen space with Sonam Kapoor.
