|After Rajini's Kochadaiyaan Jaya TV to acquire Vijay's Thuppaki?|
Only recently a press release from the makers of Superstar Rajinikanth's Kochadaiyaan revealed that this 3d film's satellite rights has been sold to Jaya TV.
Now the latest buzz is that Jaya TV (seen as the official channel of the Tamilandu ruling party AIADMK), is eyeing Vijay's Thuppaki.
Ilayathalpathy Vijay and his father SA Chandrasekar, has always showed open support for this party. We all know the kind of trouble Vijay faced during his film Kavalan's release. In fact Kaavalan's satellite rights were owned by Jaya TV.
Later with change in government, though Nanban went on to become one of the biggest hits, the TV satellite rights were sold to Vijay TV instead of Jaya TV.
Now with Thuppaki, directed by AR Murugadoss is getting hot every day, the TV people are eying for the satellite rights of this film too. The film has Kajal Agarwal playing the lead and has Vijay plays a spy.
The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu and has Vidyut Jamal, Akshara Gowda as part of its cast. The film's story mostly takes place in Mumbai and is a spy thriller.
