Veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja who is currently planning to make an English version of his trilingual thriller 'Bommalattam' is eying to rope in a known Hollywood star in the lead role. Nana Patekar and Arjun Sarja played the lead roles in the Tamil version, and now a senior star from Hollywood is what Bharathiraja is aiming to fit into Patekar's role.

Samuel Jackson is the Hollywood star we were talking about. Bharathiraja who has delivered interesting thriller flicks right from the early 90s, is of the view that the script of Bommalattam would suit the English audience well.

Sources say that the director has started making changes to the script to suit international standards. With Himesh Reshmaiyya's music the film had Kajal Agarwal and Rukmani as the female leads.
