Actor Prakash Raj, who is fresh from his directional venture 'Dhoni', has signed a film with Mollywood star Mohanlal. The actor who has carved a niche for himself in Tamil and Telgu, is trying his hand in Malayalam as well and feels happy about it.

The film has been titled 'Spirit' and will be directed by ace Mollywood film maker Ranjith. 'Spirit' will have Mohanlal, Prakash Raj and Kanika in lead roles. The movie will be a thriller and is expected Kick start soon. After a very long time since Mani Ratnam's 'Iruvar', Prakash Raj and Mohanlal will be seen together onscreen.

Prakash Raj, who paid a visit to Cochin regarding the movie finalization, confirmed the news by himself on his microblogging page. "Finalized a film in Malayalam. Due for a long time. Mohanlal + Kaniha + Prakash Raj in director Renjith's "SPIRIT". Shoot in March. Cheerss!!!" That's something to cheer about, indeed!," Prakash Raj wrote on his Twitter page.

Prakash Raj's second directional project Dhoni has earned him good appreciations overall for which the actor turned director is happy. Sources close to say Prakash Raj say that he will be continuing his attempts in the direction field, but not at the cost of his acting career.
