Surya and Jyothika son Dev's birthday bash

Surya and Jyothika celebrated the first birthday of their son Dev in a private party which had close family members and friends. In order to avoid media attention the event was planned silently at a resort in ECR. “Surya and Jyothika were rejoicing in happiness as their elder daughter Diya stole the show”, says a close friend of Surya.

From the family from Surya's parents, Karthi, and cousin Gnanavel Raja were present. Surya's long time close friend Ajith, Shalini, their daughter Anushka, directors Bala, Hari, and producer-actor Udhayanidhi Stalin were present from the film fraternity.

Unfortunately, Surya Jyothika' son Dev's birthday party photos has not been released to the media yet. Surya is presently filming Ezham Arivu and participation in Celebrity Cricket League too. Soon after completing the remaining and dubbing portions Surya will move on to KV Anand's multi-crore project, 'Maatraan'.
