Director Anurag Kashyap has shown a new method for launching a film's audio through the concept of 'Wasseypur Music Express'. The director launched the music of the film on-road with the cast and himself traveling in a jeep.

The director said that since many portions of the film have  been shot on the road, the crew decided to have its music launch done on the road. Manoj Bajpai, Nawazuddin Siddiqui  and Richa Chadda were seen at the on-road music launch.
