The launch event of 'Kottaimedu' Tamil movie took place at AVM Studios on the 28th of April, 2012. Director Sargunam, lyricist Vivega, S.P.S. Guhan, Soundar rajan, K.V. Ganesan, N.R.D. Dhanapal, Ganesh Raghavendra (Music Director), V.N. Rajasubramanian(Director), Ashok Kumar, Murali were present during the launch event.

Kottaimedu is directed by V.N. Rajasubramanian while Shayam Gopal handles the Camera,  Ganesh Raghvendra composes the music and Siva Shankar takes care of the art direction.
