Mahat and Manchu Manoj kiss & make up, shake hands as friends

Mahat Ragavendra and Manchu manoj Kumar who made the gossip headlines two days back with a fight after the Filmfare awards nite at a party in the hotel, now seem to have shook hands and compromised.

Mahat informed media, “I wish to inform all the press and friends that the misunderstanding that had happened between me and Mr. Manoj Manchu has been solved amicably. Mr. Manoj Manchu and we go long back in time as good friends. I am glad that the issue has been resolved and we continue to be good friends. I would like to thank the press for their extended support; it means a lot!”

Earlier about elaborating the fight that took place on the 7th of July Mahat had informed media, stating, "I was invited to a party after the Filmfare Awards which happened on 7th, Saturday, in Chennai. I was at this party with several others from the film fraternity. I was called by a friend of mine to have a personal chat away from the crowd. While I was having this conversation with my friend, Mr Manoj Manchu, who is an actor from the Telugu film industry, along with his 3 other friends interrupted my private conversation with my friend and started hitting me without even telling me what the issue was about."

He added, "I was assaulted by these Men for several minutes - I was hit on my face, my stomach and my lower body. I had even received a blow to my throat. Nobody else was even allowed to interfere and stop this fight as the men who were hitting me along with Mr Manoj was threatening who ever tried to stop them from hitting me. As onlookers gathered and kept interfering, this gang stopped to hit me further. I was threatened after getting hit by Mr Manoj saying that my death was in his hands and that he would go to any extent to use his influence to have me killed."

Mahat further stated, "This incident happened around 4 am in the morning of 8th July. After I was assaulted, I had called one of my friends who came to pick me from the spot and I was taken to a hospital. I was treated for a swollen eye, severe pain to my right jaw. I am still in mental shock and fear for my life as he had even made an attempt to inform people to have me killed. After I was treated in the hospital, I lodged a complaint with the police department for the assault and have continued to file an FIR for the same. I am still fearing for my life as he is very influential."

Manoj Manchu on the other hand in his statement informed media, “Unfortunately, I have come to hear of some rumours being spread around about our so called “fight”, both in the media as well as in the social circles, which is causing deep hurt to both of us. In fact, Mahath is hurt reading these reports and I have to apologize for the agony caused. We continue to be very good friends. We also wish this clear the air.”

Eye witnesses inform that the fight did in fact take place and Manoj did beat up Mahat and is not just a gossip as said by some. It is said that Manoj cannot accept in public as an FIR is filed and a arrest warrant has been issued.

While the whole fight is speculated to be because of Mahat-Tapasee-Manoj's relationship complication, Tapasee had thrashed media by saying, “Oh God! Take a break please! I am not in any relationship with anyone! That is it!”
