Arjun Kapoor's transformation from fat to fit for Ishaqzaade

Sonam Kapoor and her cousin Arjun Kapoor had faced a similar situation. Yes we are talking about the one of the many things in common – transformation from fat to fit.

Not only that being from a filmy family, Arjun Kapoor (son of Boney Kapoor) like Sonam (daughter of Anil Kapoor), aspired to be a director.

When Sonam Kapoor worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali as assistant director, she was roped in to play the lead heroine in Saawariya. Similarly Arjun Kapoor also worked as assistant director in films like Salaam-E-Ishq, Shakti: The Power and Kal Ho Naa Ho. He has also worked as Assistant Producer in his Father's production No Entry, co-produced Wanted and then Milenge Milenge.

Arjun Kapoor who was then spotted by YRF Films, through a Facebook profile of his, had decided to cast him as a hero in their upcoming venture Ishaqzaade.

Arjun Kapoor underwent a lot of fitness training sessions and Weight Loss diets to loose weight and look fit for his on screen debut as the leading man in Ishaqzaade opposite Parineeti Chopra.

Interestingly it was Salman Khan who turned Arjun's fitness trainer and looked after his diet and exercise routine, who had then lost 68 kilos from his earlier weight of 140 kilos.

We hear that Yash Raj Films has also signed on Arjun for another movie under their banner titled, Virus Diwan. (Must be that 3 movie contract that YRF usually signs with their actors whom they launch. Remember they did the same for Anushka & Ranveer too.)

Seems like Arjun is following his cousin Sonam. But Sonam though had many duds at box office, has now been tagged as the fashionista. She might not have established herself as an actress, but has made a stand for herself in Bollywood as youth fashion icon.

Arjun might have a chance as he has been launched by YRF, who always carve a career and create star out of their actors (eg - Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra)!
