Nanban audio was launched in Coimbatore amongst much fan fare in the live concert of music Director Harris Jayaraj.

The film directed by Shankar has Vijay, Ileana, Jeeva, Srikanth, Satyan, SJ Surya, Sathyaraj, Anuya in important roles. The film also has Vijay Vasanth, Uma Padmanaban, Raghava Lawrence as part of its cast.

The first song from the album of Nanban is En Friend Pola.

The song has already created a buzz as the film deals with the friends and with the movie’s title as Nanban, would it be nice with not having a song dedicated to Friendship! This song is just that.

The buzz is that the song is a background song in the film, that’s shot in montages.

Yes this is the famous ‘Allz Well’ song that has been retained in Tamil as well. But just that phrase and not the music. The music is fresh and its beats are ok. You obviously tend to compare to its chartbuster Hindi version, but its different and will sync with the college students with its funny picturization.

This song might be the Tamil version of the popular and highly entertaining number ‘Zoobi Dhoobi’ from 3 idiots, shot on Ileana and Vijay, as Ileana finds Vijay attractive and that she is falling in love with him! The usage of different languages by lyricist Karky is different. This song might be shot in exquisite foreign locations, grand sets, colorful backdrops. Must be that Shankar style song that’s shot extravagantly, which screams high budget!

The use of Rap in between with Suvi’s voice is yet again so typical that this reminds you its Harris Jayaraj’s album.

This song is the melodious song sung by a broken heart, a dejected student. This song should be the equivalent of ‘Give me Some Sunshine’ from 3 idiots.

The melody and the lyrics add to the song’s right situation and this small number will appeal on frequent listens.

Irukkaannaa
Singers - Vijay Prakash, Javed Ali, Sunidhi Chauhan
Lyrics – Pa Vijay

This duet song is a fast beat number with Vijay Prakash and Sunidhi Chauhan’s voices. We could already imagine the song to be picturized in typical Shankar style - huge grandeur scale, on the likes of Anniyan, Sivaji.

The song is the second duet shot on Vijay and Ileana the leads in the film. Must be added to give a commercial love song to the leads!

This song is an emtional Friendship song sung by Ramakrishnan. This song comes in a situation when Jeeva gets admitted in hospital and his friends Srikanth and Vijay take care of him.
