The film ‘Krishnaleelai’, starring Jeeva in the lead, is said to be lying in cold storage as the makers feel that they would be ‘accused’ of having followed/toed the same storyline as Vikram’s ‘Kandhasamy’.

Knowing very well that the criticism would be a bit too harsh, the producer of the film ‘Maathi Yosi’ is said to be making plans to re-shoot the film after making the necessary changes in the screenplay.

‘Maathi Yosi’ team fears that their film would be accused of having ‘copied’ the story from the successful ‘Renigunda’. The story of ‘Maathi Yosi’ and ‘Renigunda’ appear to be the same except for the fact that a woman features in the gang of gangsters. The director and producer of ‘Maathi Yosi’, who are already caught up in some sort of financial strain after the budget had been overshot, are said to be pricking their heads as to what to do next.
