Xbox 360, which is more popular among the gamers, is the gaming system that you play games on. The Kinect isn't a system and is an add-on to the Xbox 360. Only games made for Kinect will work with it, but you can still play other games on the Xbox 360 that won't work with Kinect.
At the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the new and latest features of the Xbox 360 was announced and let us what are the new and latest features that Xbox 360 has to offer.
Xbox Kinect Fun Labs grabs most of its attention on the technology of Microsoft’s revolutionary Kinect peripheral. The new feature of the Xbox 360 will include face scanning to use the image as the Xbox avatars, which will make the process of selecting the avatars which are provided in default.
The next latest feature of the Xbox 360, is the object scanning, in which you can scan any objects you want and create a digital puppet which will be fully controllable.
The latest one will also allow you to feature finger tracking in full 3 dimensions around photographed objects or people, anyone familiar with ‘light art’ will get a sense for the sorts of imagery this allows. Xbox Live Gold members will also have the YouTube compatibility and all you need to have is a Youtube account. The Youtube account will allow users access to unlimited YouTube content.
After Skype came under the acquisition Microsoft, the news is more high that, the Xbox Live will support Skype video and voice chat between users, which is a great news for the gamers and who wouldn't love such kind of things in a gaming console, but using this feature in the console require a Gold membership, Skype account and Kinect.
The next is that the Xbox 360 will feature Cloud storage which will allow the users to backup save data and user profiles online for access anywhere in the world. There will also be inter connectivity between Xbox’s and Microsoft’s upcoming operating system Windows 8.
The Xbox console will also support Bing search engine through voice control, in which the users can search their favorite games, film and television streaming over Bing just by speaking, no more remote controls.
