Max Payne 3 Overview

Nine years after the events of Max Payne 2, Max has still not recovered from the loss of his wife and new born daughter - drowning his sorrows at bars and in painkillers. In Max Payne 3, Max has retired from the NYPD and is now working as Private Security for the Branco Family in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The plot begins with "Fabiana, the wife of Rodrigo" one of the three brothers of the Branco Family - is being kidnapped by a street gang called Comando Sombra and they demand a ransom for her release but the deal goes haywire as they lose both the ransom money and the girl.
