|Bajaj Pulsar 375cc spy pics and details|
India's largest selling sportsbike, the Bajaj Pulsar is getting more sportier, beefier in appearance and performance as per the latest spy pics emerged in autocarindia.com. Well, considering this picture it seems that Bajaj is constructing its premium sportsbike.
Bajaj is busy with the launch preparations of the highly awaited KTM Duke 390. On the other hand the development project for the 375cc engined Pulsar is in full swing. This new Pulsar is expected to be the best in class produced by the homegrown auto major so far with the new additions which will give a premium feel to the riders.
With what we have got in the spy pics, the front end resembles the Yamaha YZF-R1 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300 a little bit. For those who hated the partial front end styling of the Pulsar 220 and almost naked styling of its younger siblings, the new Pulsar 375 will be a sigh of relief. The new Pulsar comes with a full fairing along with twin headlamps.
The instrumentation console could be a technically advanced one with all those bright illuminations and indications for fuel, oil and rpm. Considering the spy pics, the suspension at the front looks like a conventional telescopic forks, the front wheel looks quite bulkier and the disc plates are larger in size.
The powerhouse of the Pulsar 375 is expected to deliver something which will be similar to the power and torque figures of the Duke 390. A six-speed manual transmission could be available as a standard option.
So, next comes the pricing of the vehicle and we can safely expect Bajaj to come out with a not so shocking price tag for sure as the company has maintained the pricing point as one of its key highlights in the past decade for most of its offerings. For sure there will be heavy localization of parts which will reflect in nominal pricing of the Pulsar 375. So, get your sleeves up for an exciting offering which will be a benchmark in Indian sportsbike segment.
