Hyundai Elantra Fluidic launched in India at INR 12.51 lakhs

Korean automaker Hyundai is Ready to launch the new Hyundai Elantra sedan in India on August 2012, which it discontinued a few years ago. The sedan has got a relaunch in many part of the globe, thanks to the Fluidic design concept of Hyundai.

However, the car now comes with the pride of carrying the tag as the best seller of Hyundai, globally. The sedan is better known as Avante in some parts of the globe. The Elantra Fluidic gets a stunning new look with its sharp and edgy Fluidic design, quality interiors and features.

A diesel variant for Indian market was expected and now the brochure leak of the Elantra Fluidic on the web has confirmed the happy news. India will be the first country to get the diesel version of the Hyundai Elantra Fluidic.

Hyundai Elantra Fluidic diesel variant :

Hyundai Elantra Fluidic is expected to have the 1.6 Liter CRDI turbo diesel unit which generates the power for smaller Verna fluidic sedan. The engine outputs peak power of 126 bhp and 260 Nm of torque.

Hyundai Elantra Fluidic petrol variant :

The petrol variant gets a 1.8 Liter with direct fuel injection and outputs peak power of 148 bhp and torque of 180 Nm. With this power and torque figures the Elantra Fluidic sedan's petrol variant stands as one of the most powerful D segment cars in India. Both the petrol and diesel variants can are available in six-speed manual and automatic transmission.
