Autocarindia.com has posted a valuable spy picture of the facelift version Audi A4 sedan caught while testing on Mumbai roads. Audi India's first ever attempt for a facelift version has been taken on its A4 sedan. The German automobile giant has taken (rather forced to) this effort due to its fellow- German rivals BMW and Mercedes.

The new A4 India facelift will go head-to-head with the the recently reworked Mercedes Benz C-class and the sixth generation BMW 3 series. Now, let us quickly complete a roundup of the cosmetic and other visible changes made on A4's facelift version.

Audi A4 India facelift exterior changes :

The front portion has undergone slight changes among which the change in Headlights are easily noticeable. The headlights are more curvy holding LED lamps exhibiting single line flow of illumination.

Other changes in the front portion includes outline detailing of the Bonnet. The four-sided grille has been replaced by a six-sided grille which will be painted in black for six-cylinder models and grey for four-cylinder models. The xenon projector lamps will be available in the higher variants. Changes in the rear part includes new tail light with reworked LED lights and bumper.

Audi A4 facelift interior changes :

Audi will come up with loads of features in the inside of the A4 sedan's facelift version to make the driving experience easy for the buyers. Nothing much to say about the upholstery, but a new steering wheel design can definitely be expected. The dashboard will have a bunch of surprises, at the same time maintaining high standards.

New Audi A4 facelift India features :

Audi will also take efforts to do the much needed changes on the optional MMI (multi-media interface). The multi-media interface is a car user-interface system developed by Audi and implemented since 2004 in its top model cars.

New Audi A4 facelift launch date in India :

Audi, however, will use the engine of the existing A4 version for the facelift as well. The Audi A4 facelift is expected to be launched by in the middle of 2012.
