Volkswagen Beetle, which is one of the car which holds the name of manufacturing most number of cars and the longest running car in a single design platform. Volkswagen Beetle, which is also one of the most iconic cars in the world, has now come with up an innovative idea of making the iconic car with all scrap. Volkswagen Beetle which is been made from all scrap is been named as the Think Blue. Volkswagen, which was busy developing the 2012 version of Beetle, an artist named Haribaabu Natesaan in parallel to the development of the 2012 version, have developed a Beetle which is been done with all scrap metals (over 2805 pieces to be precise. )

Metal Scraps:
The Think Blue Volkswagen Beetle, is been made from 800 spark plugs, 800 cold drink crowns, 200 bottle caps, 60 mother boards, Computer Key Boards, Hard Disks, CDs, audio cassettes, speakers, Barbecue Sticks, Beer cans, Telecom wires, Flat Screen Monitor, Pens, Type writers and others.

The scrap metals were collected from various environmental sustainability clean-up drives, called ‘Think Blue’. The car is showcased at the Kala Ghoda festival at Mumbai from the 4th to 12th of February 2012. The scrap Beetle will also be put to displayed at Germany Art Museum.
