The facelift version of the Mahindra Xylo MPV will be launched by the 8th of February, as per the news from Mahindra and Mahindra. Now, the 2012 Xylo Mini which has been kept under wraps for quite a long time has been spotted testing in the frozen regions of Scandinavia.

Expected features of 2012 Mahindra Xylo Mini :

• First of all, the Xylo Mini measures under four meter, which allows the maker to enjoy the tax reduction and price it competitively. As the facelift Mahindra Xylo MPV is placed in the C class sedan segment, the Mini Xylo will compete with the small cars in the market.
• The price of Mahindra Xylo Mini in India is expected to be placed between 4-5 lakhs range.
• Considering the rise in need for the diesel engines, the 2012 Mini Xylo might come in both petrol and diesel variants. The diesel variant might be launched at least after a few months of the petrol variant's launch.
• The key advantage that the 2012 Mini Xylo will have over the hatchbacks is the high ground clearance and spacious seating capacity.
• The petrol and diesel engines of the Mini Xylo is expected to be the size-reduced versions of the existing Mahindra engines. The diesel powerhouse might be a 1.5 liters, three cylinder engine. There are no ideas on what the petrol unit will posses.
• The diesel engine will be the altered version of Xylo MPV's 2.2 liter mEagle engine and might have turbocharged and common rail direct injection system.
• The seating layout for seven members would be 2+3+2 layout with the last two seats being given the folding option.
